Creeper Trail

Sharon and I drove up to Abingdon Sunday rode for about ten miles on the Creeper Trail.  It was an enjoyable ride.  Several trees were down from the storm that hit Sat night so we had to do a little portage.  A small tornado rolled through Johnson City doing quite a bit of damage.  It was a big thunderstorm in Bristol and without the wind.  But it did some damage in Abingdon as well.

It was a beautiful morning.  The Creeper Trail is a wonderful place for an easy recreational ride.  It winds through the mountains and some farms for 30 plus miles.  We realized we haven't been there for two years!  At one time it was our regular haunt.  Last time we were there I had significant problems that resulted in two summers of heart crap.  Yesterday I did well for most of the ride but had to stop because of chest pain.  I am doing better though and slowly extending my range.
